Safety First
At Bounce Then Slide, we believe safety is the most important part of any event. While many companies provide basic delivery, our team members are professionally certified through a rigorous, multi-phase training program. This ensures every setup is handled by an expert who understands the physics, mechanics, and sanitation required to keep your guests protected.
Our Internal Training Standards
We set the bar higher than the industry standard. Every Bounce Then Slide employee undergoes a minimum 32-hour training program, with our lead technicians completing an extensive 48-hour certification across three specialized phases:
Phase 1: Precision Setup & Sanitation (16 Hours)
Every team member begins with 16 hours focused on the core fundamentals of inflatable safety:
- Engineering the Setup: Mastering anchoring techniques, safety installation protocols, and calculating wind-load safety (standard 15 MPH cutoff).
- Rolling, Strapping & loading Mastery: Professional techniques for tight, uniform rolling, propor trailer/truck loading to prevent equipment damage and ensure safe transport. This includes proper air evacuation, folding, compression and the use of industrial-grade ratchets and straps to secure loads effectively.
- Medical-Grade Sanitation: A strict 5-step sterilization protocol using specialized sanitizers and white-cotton friction cleaning.
- Underground Safety: Specialized training on staking procedures to protect underground irrigation and utility lines.
Phase 2: Technical Logistics & Power Management (16 Hours)
The next 16 hours move into the mechanics that ensure a seamless, interruption-free event:
- Power Optimization: Expert knowledge of electrical draw ($HP$ vs. Amperage) and circuit management for both landline and generator power.
- Utility Operations: Safe fire hydrant connections and operational safety.
- Fleet & Site Safety: Mandatory multi-point inspections on all trucks and trailers, plus advanced site-hazard identification (overhead power lines, trip hazards, and soil density checks).
Phase 3: Specialized Asset Operation (16 Hours)
Our final phase is dedicated to high-performance equipment and professional conduct:
- Certified Bull Operators: Specialized training for Mechanical Bull consoles, focusing on emergency stop procedures and rider-appropriate speed settings.
- Interactive Game Mastery: Technical setup and supervision for complex units like Wipeout challenges and Rock Walls.
- Client Advocacy: Training our staff to be professional communicators who walk you through safety rules so you feel 100% confident before the first guest jumps.
